how do i download the desktop image?

Click on the link above that best suits your screen size (resolution). if you are not sure, try 800x600 first.
Wait for the image to open in a new window then click anywhere on the image with your right mouse button.
Click "Set as wallpaper" in the pop-up menu.
Minimise all open windows to view your new wallpaper!
