They shouldn't have any issues eating the kitten pouches (mash them up if you feel they're struggling). They need water as well as milk... although don't be too worried if they won't drink the milk.... my little one wouldn't drink anything but water, and she's now a healthy 6 month old. She was the tiniest 6 week old kitten I had ever seen, and she's happy, healthy and has more than tripled her weight now :-)
