For the last 4 days I have stopped giving her the kitten milk hoping that would solve the problem. But Mishka still has diahhorea. Does anybody know why my kitty would have this and should I take her to the vet? I'm not really sure what to do about it now. Perhaps I should stop the wet food for a few days as well. I would appreciate any feedback from members who have had this with their kitty. She is about 3 1/2 months old. Thanks, Lynelle (mummy)
Poor little Mishka.
The first thing you should do is steam or poach some chicken and shred it for her to eat. She will love the chicken and it will help to clean out her insides. Continue this for a few days and the problem should clear up rather quickly.
The Milk could be the cause of the problem, some cats just can't seem to stomach it very well. My young cat, Bruce, can handle Whiskas Milk very well however his tummy doesn't agree with any other Whiskas products, except for the Ocean Platter which is his favourite. Try alternating different food to see which ones don't upset her stomach.
Good Luck!
